The Record Books for youth in the horse project are due no later than July 11th. You can deliver them to the Horse board meeting on July 11th. There are other opportunities to turn in your record books:At the show on July 7th and 8th.
- To any Board Member on the 9th and 10th.
- Elaine Hettick will collect them from the Gig Harbor kids at the Gig Harbor library on Tuesday the 10th from 6-7pm.
- The 4-H office if you call them in advance to make arrangements to drop them off.
Your fair entry form must accompany your project record book when you turn it in.
Please make certain that you have read the directions on the front page of the record book, reviewed the sample record book (Happy HorseKid), and reviewed the
scoring rubric. These items can be found on the
documents page of the Horse Department website.
Don't forget to include a copy of your horse certificate in your record book. It doesn't have to be a copy of the certificate that was signed by the Extension Representative. If you don't have a copy of the one you turned in before May 1, you can create a new one!
